How to Care for and Wash Silk Blouses?
Caring for silk blouses
Silk is a natural fibre, prized for its lightness and delicacy. When storing, it is best to hang silk blouses to avoid creasing. As a protein fibre, silk can attract moths, and as such, we recommend hanging in a garment bag with a natural moth repellent. When washing, take care to always hand-wash the whole garment in a silk-friendly detergent. Silk can be gently steamed to remove creasing, but we recommend using a press cloth to protect the sensitive fibres.
Caring for Linen blouses
Linen is a durable eco-friendly fabric that softens with each wash. Our Linen blouses should be gently washed in cool water with a mild detergent. We recommend lightly steam-pressing linen garments while still slightly damp to remove any creasing. To store, hang your linen clothing in a cool, dry place.
