Returns and Exchanges

FROM 8TH JANUARY 2019 (For Australia & New Zealand orders)

Thank-you for shopping with Blue Illusion.  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can simply return it within 30 days (within the original country of purchase) and we will provide you with an exchange, refund or repair within the guidelines outlined below.

The policy applied to all purchases made from Blue Illusion, instore or online. Our policy does not exclude or replace your rights given under Australian Consumer Law and regulations for purchases made within Australia (including online purchases in AUD) or the New Zealand Consumer Law and regulations for purchases made within New Zealand (including online purchases in NZD). 

CHANGE OF MIND

If you have changed your mind and you are able to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, Blue Illusion may offer you an exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase provided that the merchandise:

  • Is in a saleable condition;
  • Is unworn, unwashed or unused with all original tags attached and sealed packaging (where relevant); and
  • Is not subject to the exclusions listed below.

If you are unable to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, Blue Illusion at its absolute discretion reserves the right not to offer a refund for change of mind.  In such cases, Blue Illusion may provide you in its absolute discretion, an exchange to the current value of the merchandise.

Please note:

ð  Blue Illusion items purchased in a Myer store are subject to their returns and exchange policies and procedures.

ð  Myer department stores are unable to offer a refund or exchange on any items purchased online at www.blueillusion.com.

ð  Clearance items purchased in clearance stores can only be returned to clearance stores.

ð  For online purchases, exchange or refund within 30 days is valid from the time you receive your purchase.

ð  Purchases made using Afterpay can only be returned not exchanged by returning your order via post. Note: Returns or exchanges on orders purchased using Afterpay cannot be processed in a Blue Illusion boutique.

ð  Purchases made using PayPal can be returned or exchanged by returning your order via post. Note: Returns or exchanges on orders purchased using PayPal cannot be processed in a Blue Illusion boutique.

EXCLUSIONS

Please choose carefully when purchasing the following merchandise as change of mind returns will not be provided on:

  • Pierced Jewellery; 
  • Beauty & Skincare products;
  • Undergarments;
  • Altered products;
  • Personalised items;
  • Gift Cards; or
  • Vouchers.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES

If you believe an item is faulty, is significantly different from the sample or description or has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it, you may have rights to a remedy under the Australian or New Zealand Consumer Law (pending the country of purchase). 

If there is a major failure with an item, you may choose a refund, exchange or repair.  If the failure is minor, we may repair the item or, at our discretion, we may replace the item or refund you within a reasonable time. 

Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use Blue Illusion will not provide a refund, exchange or repair.

Blue Illusion will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under either the Australian or New Zealand Consumer Law (pending the country of purchase).

PROOF OF PURCHASE

Returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents:

  • Original register receipt (no photocopies accepted).
  • Online Tax Invoice (order confirmations will not be accepted).

Where you are subscribed to the Blue Illusion Customer Lifestyle Club, Blue Illusion at its absolute discretion may consider proof of purchase has been satisfied where the item can be clearly identified from your Customer Lifestyle Club transactional history.

RETURN TENDER

Refunds for all purchases instore and online will be given using your original payment method. EFTPOS/Credit Card refunds must be processed against the original card details (the exact card used to make the purchase).  Cash refunds require a receipt.

PRIVACY WHEN MAKING A RETURN

Blue Illusion is committed to protecting your privacy.  You may be asked to present photo identification.  For example, Australian/New Zealand Driver’s Licence or Passport.

CAN I RETURN AN AFTERPAY PURCHASED ITEM?

Yes, provided returns fall within the Blue Illusion return requirements, Afterpay will process a refund back to the card used. 

Online purchases made using Afterpay must be returned to Blue Illusion online, stores are unable to process returns for purchases made using Afterpay as the payment method.

CAN I RETURN A PAYPAL PURCHASED ITEM?

Yes, provided returns fall within the Blue Illusion return requirements, PayPal will process a refund.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For returns and exchanges you will need to arrange your own return postage and we recommend getting a tracking number for your parcel.
